4. Alcohol and Other Drug Evaluations
If you have been required to receive an alcohol and other drug evaluation, PEER Services can help you. We offer evaluation services for adults and adolescents referred by the criminal justice system, DCFS, employers, physicians, psychotherapists, private attorneys, hospitals, mental health centers, social service agencies, and other organizations.
We will provide you with a thorough evaluation, including a complete social history, drug history, and vocational assessment.
Due to the confidential nature of our work, respecting the privacy of the individuals and families we serve is a top priority. The confidentiality of substance use evaluations and any related treatment is highly protected under federal law (42 CFR Part 2). If you would like us to share your evaluation, we will ask you to sign a release of information specifying with whom your information may be shared.
5. DUI Risk Education & Aftercare
We are licensed by the State of Illinois to provide DUI Risk Education classes for adults and teens required to take such classes by the Illinois Secretary of State’s office. While all individuals with a DUI in Illinois must complete Risk Education, the Secretary of State may require you to participate in additional substance abuse treatment based on results of your DUI Evaluation. As a licensed DUI provider, we may be able to fulfill out-of-state requirements as well.
